A reminder that this is the last release for 2025. Just a few small changes this week…

nvidia

To satisfy some unspecified dependencies for the nvidia kernel module packages, we now always install the kernel headers and tools.

openafs

The latest release – 1.8.14 – is now available for both Ubuntu Jammy and Noble. We’re not planning to put any effort into updating the Focal platform so it will stay on 1.8.13.

Package repositories

There are now optional headers available for including the package repositories for Globus and QGIS.

Changes to headers and package lists

Members of the Informatics Computing team can browse all the changes to the headers and package lists.
