Weekly Changes – 24/11/2025

This covers changes for last week along with this week. Not much to report, here are the details of the few notable changes…

opennebula

There is a lot of ongoing work to import all the configuration for running an opennebula service. There will be a further announcement once it’s all ready for deployment.

openafs

We have begun work on adding support for openafs 1.8.14, this will allow us to use newer <em<HWE kernels. See the upstream release notes for details of all the changes.

Package mirrors

There is new support for mirroring opennebula package repositories for Jammy and Noble.

The configuration headers for using local apt repositories for grafana, fluentbit and clickhouse have been moved to match with the new standard approach.

Changes to headers and package lists

Members of the Informatics Computing team can browse all the changes to the headers and package lists.
