Due to holidays there are almost no LCFG changes this week. Here are the (very minimal) details…

The python modules which provide a mechanism to retrieve Informatics Cosign-protected URLs by preauthenticating with Kerberos have been changed to improve the user experience. It should now be able to handle most of the errors weblogin can throw at it. This should also fix recent irritations with the nagios and wake tools.

New package options

Ubuntu has gained two new package options:

  • LCFG_OPTIONS_GNUPLOT_X11 – gnuplot with graphical X11 support
  • LCFG_OPTIONS_GNUPLOT_NOX – gnuplot with command line support only

This can be enabled by adding the option name to the profile.pkgcppopts resource, for example:

!profile.pkgcppopts mADD(LCFG_OPTIONS_GNUPLOT_X11)
