Here are the materials for my ESSLLI 2022 course, The logical form of lexical semantics:
- Session 1: Introduction
- Session 2: Manner/Result Complementarity
- Session 3: Root types and the Levinson classes
- Session 4: Experimental and computational approaches
- Session 5: Additional empirical phenomena and wrap-up
There was no required reading. If you want to start with something else, I recommend the introduction and conclusion of Beavers and Koontz-Garboden (2020) and the introduction to Josep Ausensi’s (2021) PhD thesis.
