It’s finally arrived – June the month that is Careers Month is here! Whilst there are events happening throughout the month keep in mind that each one is a stand-alone event and that you can attend as much of the programme as you’d like. We intend to follow up each event with a post on the IAD4Reserachers blog so make sure that you are following along to be notified when each post goes live. This way even if you are unable to attend on the day you can find out about the flavour of the event through the written post as well as links to further resources.
The first week kicks off with Career Decision Making running on 5th June at 12 noon. This briefing session covers the most common causes of career indecision, ways to tackle them in order to help you make more confident career decisions.
The second week of June will include a webinar focussing on Recruitment Insights and a second briefing session covering Narrative CVs, what they are and resources to support you in writing one (look out for further details on these two sessions coming shortly).
Remember that if you wish to speak to us individually why not take advantage of a short, targeted, consultation (20 mins) these are being held throughout the day on Tuesday 18th June (see Careers Month webpages for more details and booking).
*This activity has been developed by the Institute for Academic Development to improve the University of Edinburgh research cultures as part of the University’s research cultures action plan.
