Blogs.ed Upgrade – 9th July 2020 (9.30am-12.30pm)

We are upgrading blogs.ed on Thursday the 9th of July.  The service will be unavailable from 9.30am-12.30pm (and at risk until 5pm that day).

The upgrade predominately ensures that the core application, plugins and themes stay up-to-date and secure but we are also adding a few new features:

  • Update to WordPress version 5.4.2
  • Notifications to Instructors when Students publish new posts or reply to Instructor comments (documentation on this can now be found on our Help Pages and on our new ‘Getting Started Guide
  • Update of TinyMCE to latest version
