Introduction to HOPE: Healthy Outcomes from Positive Experiences framework

Introduction to HOPE: Healthy Outcomes from Positive Experiences framework
Tuesday 30 September, 1pm – 2.30pm, Online via Zoom
In this Centre for Research on Families and Relationships seminar, Dalia Avello-Vega will provide an introduction to the HOPE (Healthy Outcomes from Positive Experiences) framework.
Developed at the School of Medicine at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts, the HOPE framework centres on how positive childhood experiences (PCEs) can drive healthy child development and lessen the lifelong effects of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs).
In this seminar, we will explore the research behind the concept of positive childhood experiences, the Four Building Blocks of HOPE, and the ways in which the framework has been incorporated into practice.
The seminar is open to all practitioners, policymakers, and academics interested in improving the health and well-being of children, families, and communities.
