Hi, my name is Jill I am from the wee town of Bo’ness. I am a mature student and Mum of two. I have a background is social care and therapeutic child care.
I am excited to be studying at ECA and hope to use this year trying out as many mediums as I can squeeze into first year. I like to discover new ways of working and expressing myself.
I am particularly drawn to art which acts as a cathartic method of expressing, understanding and healing.
Louise Bourgeois works were the first art works I felt a deep emotional attachment for I appreciate the fragility and raw honesty in the works of both Larry clark and Tracey Emin.
