In recent years, the fast fashion industry has seen significant growth, particularly among young women aged 20 to 35, who make up a large part of its customer base. Reflecting this demographic, the majority of employees in fast fashion companies are also young women. As society progresses and women’s roles in the workplace expand, there is growing recognition of the importance of designing office spaces that meet the specific needs of women. Yet, despite the increasing number of women in professional settings and the rise in gender diversity, office designs often fail to accommodate these needs, focusing instead on traditional layouts that do not reflect the realities of modern working women.
This project aims to address the gap in office design by creating a workspace tailored to female employees in a fast fashion company. The design will focus on creating flexible, comfortable, and inclusive environments that promote well-being and productivity. This includes ergonomic workspaces, private areas for relaxation or personal needs, and amenities that support a healthy work-life balance. By aligning the office design with the values and needs of its predominantly female workforce, the project seeks to create an environment that not only enhances employee satisfaction but also contributes to a more equitable and supportive workplace.
