human activity all by itself just people doing what they do could be responsible for the extinction of nearly 1000 plant and animal species to date, most of them over the last century. And even if you do not particularly care about the Barbary lion, or St. Helena olive, anything eles we’ve driven into extinction, the thing is:we need this other organism .

Environmental protection is actually a very broad concept. Every one of us may also be doing something to protect the environment when changing a certain environmental situation. Take the most typical example of a group of people: Chinese elderly, including my parents: 1 , Save water, do not give up more water for washing pots and dishes. 2. Recycling waste materials, plastic bags at home will definitely be reused, and carton shells used to buy large items will definitely be recycled and sold to toll booths. These are actually acts of environmental protection. But: 1. Garbage dumped in disorder, just make it convenient for yourself. 2. The inability to classify garbage is mainly because it is troublesome.

In conclusion: Environmental protection is not achieved immediately, but requires the joint long-term efforts of everyone.
