Tomorrowland(week10)

Tomorrowland

The entire scene was shot in the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia. Calatrava’s design itself is sci-fi and beautiful. In addition, I think the most important breakthrough in human future technological development must be the generation of anti-gravity propulsion systems. This is also the most important part of human immigration to other planets. The current petrochemical energy propulsion system can make interstellar travel easier. As for, similar to quantum transport, it is estimated to be farther away. Therefore, a city based on a controllable anti-gravity system is more worthy of study. It means that we can have more levels of space. Architecture and urban design break through the bottom-up design ideas.

Construction

Although there are many buildings in the city, the distance between them is relatively large, so that it will not create a feeling of crowding. In addition, there are some aerial buildings, , some small houses hung on both sides of the branches as human dwellings. Aerial buildings are not necessarily small houses, they can be tall buildings, but they are not as big as tree-trunk buildings. This requires a strong load-bearing capacity of the branches, so use high-strength lightweight materials.

Transportation

The transportation unit is naturally mainly the flying unit. Energy is not a problem because of nuclear fusion, but there should still be a lot of heavy-duty units driving on the ground. There are two driving modes: traditional wheeled driving and magnetic levitation.
