Kallima, known as the oakleaf or oak leaf butterflies, is a genus of butterflies of the subfamily Nymphalinae in the family Nymphalidae.

 

For our kallima model we tried to experiment with different medias and techniques. We used wires, plastic wrap, thread, glue and leaves to create these various models. We were aiming to create something light and recognizable, however still abstract.
