I just have started my third year in Edinburgh, everything feels quite familiar and cozy, however there are still so many new and intriguing things to see and discover. It quite depends on people around You as well, I have visited these 3 locations quite a few times before, but every time I go there it is a totally different experience, every tie I bring somebody new with me, who changes my whole ‘journey’.

The National Museum of Scotland is honestly my first experience of
Scotland. Visiting it with my dad in 2018 as a fresher was very unusual, I feel like I could not even speak english properly. A few years have passed since that day and I have visited this museum so many times. The funny thing is, I could never reach the top floor, the museum is quite big and by the end of my visit I would be too tired to go and see the top floor collection. This time I started from there! It was interesting, I was definitely missing out haha. So all my photos are from the top floor. This adorable cow/bull holds a special place in my heart.

It is unfortunate that I only got to visit Botanical Gardens once covid 19 epidemic began. I am waiting for everything to be open again so I could actually see the inside of this beautiful place. Maybe I should also visit it during summer, because every time I am there it is somehow always freezing :/  I did get to see the seeds exhibition thought, which was quite exciting! I was sweating inside and freezing outside.

The Modern Gallery of Art is sadly not fully open now, I think. Last times I was there there were more exhibitions happening and we even got to see Katie Peterson’s works, which I still remember very vividly. The Future Library project is something everybody should check out. I still really enjoyed it. You do feel like a true artist, walking around this gallery, pretending that You understand every piece.

I think this week was quite overwhelming for me, but maybe I should consider it as a good thing. It was intense but that is how u start feeling motivated and finally feel like working. No escape!
