Skull using Raoul Feuillet’s technique

Skull using John Cage’s technique

I could imagine the skull growing, from practically nothing to something You can touch and feel. There are many specific shapes, the outlines of it are unique. Muscles and meat and skin would grow on top of it, work as a shield, protect a strong but fragile structure underneath. Fur grows over it, like a beautiful and fluffy outer layer, to finish its creation. One step in a tedious transformation process.

It grows and sheds its outer layer, hair falls out and new grows back. However at one moment it stops, fur stops returning back. The skull inside an animal stays the same while the outer layers are rotting, turning into nothing. Outer layers are eaten, leaving just a piece of bone behind.
