I really like this lighting application into student building with the warm hue that really makes a difference to the grey UK’s weather. I like how it makes it more warm and cozy. I think it significantly improves its students’ experience, and positively enhances health and wellbeing also.

In relation to this post and the previous one on functions its clear you’re getting a much better understanding around what this building would be like and for whom. Make sure that you review your questionnaire responses and show this as a pie chart of bar graph – also note the number of respondents – that is useful. Now start to consider what you mean by therapy room etc. Your brief is becoming clearer about what might happen in this building, but be careful that you don’t just end up with a rather standard student support centre. Look into therapies and see what is being used – what would support a really interesting interior and new way of looking at this problem. How do you see it operating – would you have to book. If not then how long so you see people being there for ? Try and see how stress is managed in other industries/ situations and see if that can be applied . Weird things like therapy pets etc. or is there a way of engaging with plants ?
