I watched these videos and did more research on it  I think it’s a good idea to think of a space for a dance therapy for student as a tool to prevent or reduce stress or anxiety as it may be hard for some to talk about their experiencesso they can easier express themselves through dance moves.

It’s a form of exercise that can easily be done indoors and I think its unique and could be attractive for students to participate.

After digging a bit more I also found dance can help to bond us more creating the feeling of inclusion into community and caring for one another.

And then another article helped me realise “Feeling valued and comfortable socially can prevent and reduce feelings of isolation, anxiety, depression, and more.”

Maybe there could be scheduled dance therapy sessions in one room to introduce students to the topic but then they could just go into other rooms by themsleves and then others could join them depending on mood and music they like most?

It’s an idea for one activity that could take place in my building. I need to think more or ask students if they’d prefer it to be more private or open space?

and then also I thought of having baths as a relaxation method after dancing or just after a tough day. meditation open room or smaller rooms for individuals. and then also from my survey students wanted a space for eating and drink so I thought of a space they can have a nutritious meal and tea.. but it feels like it’s a bit too many things going on inside I’m not sure.
