The Dynamic Five

You may have heard of the Big Five – But the Dynamic Five ? This was a team of five from Nursing Studies who recently took part in the Paths for All Step Challenge with teams competing from all over the UK. Susanne, Jenni, Sheila Colin and Elaine managed a massive 1,947,122 steps. That’s 187 miles in just one month ! They finished 61st out of more than 400 teams and were the top team from the School. They took part in swimming, cycling, walking to work, walking the dog, looking after horses and even trekking back from a meeting in Nepal when public transport failed to appear.

There will be another Step Challenge in the spring and it can be a fun way to get your exercise. Paths for All is a Scotland wide initiative to get people walking for a happier healthy Scotland.
