During my time as a Modern Apprentice at the University of Edinburgh, there are a lot of professional development training courses available to me. These are provided by both the University and my apprenticeship provider QA.
Here are some of the University courses that I have taken so far:
- EdWeb training (the University’s Drupal-based content management software)
 - Academic Blogging :Blogging to build your professional profile
 - Adobe Spark-Create Social Graphics, Web Pages and Videos in Minutes
 - Effective Digital Content
 - DIY Film School
 - Induction (for the School of Divinity plus a Modern Apprentice session)
 - IT Skills (Modern Apprentice session)
 - Communication Skills (Modern Apprentice Session)
 
I also have a wide variety of other University courses available to me along with the University’s two Modern Apprentice sessions each month.
QA also offers a range of different courses that I can take to help me achieve the 13 mandatory credits and 50 optional credits needed to gain my SCQF Level 6 Diploma in Digital Marketing:
- Analytics (6 mandatory credits, 6 optional credits)
 - Creative Business Skills (8 optional credits)
 - SEO (12 optional credits)
 - Web Skills (25 optional credits)
 - DM Bootcamp (7 mandatory credits)
 - Digital Marketing (11 optional credits)
