Since I’ve started at New College I’ve been introduced to many new tasks. Here’s a list of some of my recent ‘firsts’:

  • Created my first ever professional blog: New to New College 
  • Used Outlook calendar, scheduling in dates and events
  • Sent emails in a professional capacity
  • Scheduled and posted news on the School’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn alumni group pages 
  • Attended meetings and begun to understand how they work
  • Filmed and edited interviews and events, using University brand guidelines
  • Ordered materials for an organisation using their financial processes
  • Attended my first of many professional training sessions*
  • Uploaded School and University notices to a digital screen in Reception
  • Been a ‘runner’ in a School photoshoot
  • Met Katie Gallacher from QA, the Digital Marketing Assessor for the SQA qualification I am doing as part of my Modern Apprenticeship
  • Filmed billionaire businessman, philanthropist, and very cool alumnus Bob Funk.
