I have been a Consultant Anaesthetist in the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh since 2013 and have an interest in anaesthesia for emergency surgery.

I am currently the Training Programme Director for ACCS and Stage 1 Anaesthetics in SE Scotland.

I went to medical school in Edinburgh and worked in A+E, ICM and did two years in medicine in Glasgow before training in anaesthesia. I work full time and have two daughters.
