メラニー：学園祭のために、私は携帯チャームを手作りました。自分でたくさん材料を買って、2週間に40個チャームを作りました。小さい、中型と大きいなチャームを作って、学園祭でチャームの大きさによって値段を変えて売りました。チャームはとても人気で、たくさん売りました。インタビューによると、日本に学園祭はパフォーマンスをすることが目的だと言っていました。日本の学園祭に比べて、この学園祭は商品を売るためのものでした。
ジェス：学園祭のために、ミルクパンを手作りました。パンを手作ったことがないので楽しい経験だと思いました。ミルクパンを作るのは思いより簡単だと思いました。学園祭でたくさんの人はミルクパンを食べたことがないと思うので全部のパンを売りました！インタビューによると日本の学園祭で色々な日本食があります。今年の学園祭はもっと洋食を売られました。だから、自分のグループは伝統的な日本食を売ろうにしました。とても人気でした！
サリー：今年の学園祭はカップケーキを焼きました。スタジオジブリをテームにしたカップケーキでした。可愛くて美味しかったと思います。人々が楽しんでいただけたじょうとお願っています。人々はとても頑張りました。今年の学園祭はとても成功したと思って来年がまちきれないです。
ミリー：今年のがくえんさいで私はクッキーを作りました。ざいりょうを買いました。人々はたくさんクッキーを買いました。おいしいクッキーだと思います。おまもりが好きです。私のどきょうせいも作りました。かっこいです！みなさんははげんだと思います。楽しかったです！
ベサニー：がくえんさいを感動していますが、友達がカップケーキを作ってもらいました。がくえんさいの時、皆さんが忙しいです。クラスメイトは日本のがくえんさいに行こうと思っています。わたしたちがせんせいからおかねをたくさんもらいました。日本のぶんかはクラスメイトに見せました。
For the Gakuensai, I handmade phone charms. I bought the materials myself and in 2 weeks I made 40 charms. I made small, medium and big sized charms and depending on the size, I sold them at different prices at the Gakuensai. The charms were very popular and we sold a lot of them. According to the interview, Gakuensai’s in Japan are more performance-based for example beauty contests, bands and talent shows. Compared to a Japanese Gakuensai, ours was more about selling food and Japanese-related things as well as games.
We hand-made milk bread for the Gakuensai this year. I’d never made bread before, so I thought this was a really fun experience. Making the milk bread was a lot easier than I thought. I think that many people at the Gakuensai hadn’t tried milk bread before, so we ended up selling all of it! In our interview, we learnt that Gakuensai’s in Japan have various Japanese-style foods. Our Gakuensai sold more Western-style food, for this reason, our group tried to make a traditional Japanese food: milk bread. It was really popular!
For this year’s Gakuensai, I baked cupcakes, they were studio Ghibli themed. I think they looked cute, and I hope they were tasty! Everyone worked really hard this year and I hope they all had a good time. I can’t wait for next year’s Gakuensai!
For this year’s Gakuensai, I made cookies. I bought the ingredients, and we made a lot of cookies. I think the cookies were delicious! My friend also helped me make the cookies. I loved the Omamori charms. It was so fun! Everyone did really well!
The Gakuensai was a really fun experience, my friends and I made cupcakes for our stall. At the Gakuensai, everyone was so busy with their stalls. My classmates are thinking about going to a Gakuensai at a Japanese university in the future. Our teacher bought a lot so we earned lots of money! I showed my classmates Japanese culture.
