This post provides a summary of the upcoming changes including those features which we have highlighted due to their impact. For more in depth technical detail additional details are available on the release page

None of the changes this release have an impact on Original courses.

Highlights for this update include:

Question Banks Descriptions & Search

You can now search you questions bank. The search functionality queries both the bank title and description.

Search field for Question Banks; descriptions appear beneath the Question Bank name

Course Links

You can now create and use links to other areas or items within a course. This new feature allows instructors to:

  • Insert a link at the desired location on the Course Content page
  • Browse the elements of a course to select an item
  • Rename the link that will appear on the Course Content page
  • Move a link on the Course Content page independent of the target item

There are some limitations to where course links can be added and where they can link to, more information about this can be found on the Details page

Improvements for copying content

More detail has been added to the Copy Items menu to allow you to select multiple items from different courses more easily. The new copy menu is shown below and more information can be found on the Details page.

Copy actions are now more efficient in a larger panel.
