今年の学園祭（２０２３）This Year’s Gakuensai

この短いブログの中で、私は今年の学園祭について話したいと思います。

In this short blog, I’d like to discuss this year’s Gakuensai, or ‘School Festival.’

まず、日本人をインタビューするからたくさんの面白いことを学びました。例えば、学園祭で、作りやすい食べ物は一番人気のストールアイデアで、日本人は「伝統的なことを守るのは大だ」と言いました。

Firstly, through the interviews with Japanese exchange students, I learned a lot of interesting things. For example, one of the most popular stall ideas at Japanese Gakuensai is to serve easy-to-make food. As well as this, the Japanese students seemed to agree on the idea that it is important to preserve and protect traditional things.

最後に、去年に比べて、この学園祭は同じぐらい楽しいけど、私のロールはちょっと違います。自分でアイデアを考えるの代わりに、後輩をアイデアを考えるのを助け上げました。

Finally, compared to last year’s festival, this one was just as fun and enjoyable, but the role I had to take on was slightly different. Whereas last year I was a 1^st year coming up with my own ideas for the stall, this year, my role as a second year was to help guide the current first years in their own job of coming up with the idea for the stall.
