What is Gakuen-sai (Campus Festival)?

This is a collection of student-led activities, using Japanese language or promoting Japanese culture & society to other students.

Gakuen-sai’ means ‘campus festival’ in Japanese. It is an essential part of university students’ life in Japan, and all the ‘Gakuen-sai’ events are organised by students. It’s been held to let our students experience the Japanese students’ life, and to promote East Asian languages and cultures to wider community.

Past Gakuen-sai events information and photographs can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/UoE.JapaneseStudies.Gakuensai/
