UKRI funding: gender equality requirement

Any UKRI GCRF or Newton Fund calls announced after 1 April 2019 will now require applicants to submit a Gender Equality Statement as part of their proposal. This is to ensure all projects are compliant with the International Development (Gender Equality) Act 2014. More information can be found of UKRI’s website. The RSO is actively working to prepare further guidance for applicants which we will share in due course.
