Welcome to our Research Fellow!

The VRinMind team had a wonderful new addition recently when Dr Alison Mayne (@knittyphd) joined the project in November 2019 as a Research Fellow. Alison completed her PhD at Sheffield Hallam University exploring craft and wellbeing on social media. She brings a strong qualitative research background to the VRinMind study with a unique grounding in the ethics and value of personal narratives. This will enable her to work with the research team to design, deliver and evaluate a series of co-design workshops with people who practice mindfulness and those with chronic pain exploring if virtual reality could support mindfulness in a number of ways. Welcome Alison!
