The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies received top marks in the 2018 National Student Survey (NSS) results with over 99% student satisfaction! Excellent student satisfaction is fundamental to the success and well-being of our students and we are extremely pleased to see the positive results of our commitment to student experience.
The School was founded in 1823 by William Dick and is recognised as a world leader in veterinary education, research and practice by being consistently ranked as one of the top schools in the UK, delivering internationally excellent teaching and research.
The School is accredited by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS), the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the South African Veterinary Council (SAVC) and the European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education (EAEVE), meaning students can register to practice in the UK, Europe, South Africa and North America. In addition, the reciprocal arrangement between the RCVS and the Australasian Veterinary Boards Council Inc (AVBC) allows graduates to practice in Australia, New Zealand and East and South East Asia.
