Welcome to the blog site supporting the 2021 conference of the UK Association for Buddhist Studies. The conference is being hosted by the Edinburgh Buddhist Studies network, and will take place online on 1st and 2nd July, with the theme “Word, Image, Object, Performance”. It is generously supported by the Khyentse Foundation.

A full programme can be found here. Abstracts will also be viewable on this site in due course.

The event is open to all and free to attend, but you must register via this Eventbrite link. A few weeks before the conference you will be sent a password, which will enable you to view the postgraduate posters and videos via this site. You will also be sent links for accessing the live conference activities.

Note that you do not need to be a UKABS member in order to attend the AGM, but only members have voting rights. Learn more about UKABS and how to join on their website.
