Week 4 – Blog Post
This week I attended a crew meeting with the rest of the crew and got to meet the director, producer, and HOD’s in person. I also signed a production agreement sent to me by the producer of the film making my role on this film official.Crew Agreement Dahlia Hellerstein (1) 2 I am still waiting for a draft of the script to be sent to me, but was told that I would get one before the end of Week 5 so I can start doing a script breakdown of sounds.
To prepare me further for this role I signed up for an additional online sound course to learn more about all of the different functions in a boom mic (so I could understand what everything on the recorder does, and ensure that I was collecting the sound in the most optimal way) as well as learning more about the difference between a boom mic and a lav mic, as I feel like I could be more educated on what to use when.
