Four instructions:

  1. A short presentation to indicate my audience some manuscript/ Graphic scores examples. A simple method lead for their practice prepare for the next step.
  2. (I will prepare the materials ) Then please choose some materials that you would like make, think about what you like to do, for example castle, cup, chair, camera, book, bottle, animals, anything in our life.
  3. (Each audience will get papers on their hand) Please remix your version of the score manuscript that you choose, and document the process that how you make your objects.
  4. (Each audience take a photo on their score) The last step is after you back home today please find some living goods in your home such as chopsticks, bottle glasses, desk, pots or pans, by following the score that you already created to pound out your own indeterminacy melodies or hit the spot, then post on your instagram.

Documentations: 1. Photos, and may editing into a short video. 2. The contribution as a material method to make a small book as a final publication.

Practical decision making-Why do I making certain choices?

There are some reasons why I making these choices to curate this form of art. First of all, I like to choose a theme that I am interest in, we studied theme of PLAY last semester, the form of this theme is free and original. The play itself is an exploration of process for researching benefits, creative innovations, playing cards, performing characters with a play, crafting, which contain a diversity of form of arts. Secondly, I choose to create a publication as my form of curating is going to experimenting some new attempts approach to inter-discipline studies. Thirdly, I attempt to use my final publication as a material method purpose for research proposals.

My experimental art practices:

(Round score)

The first example: I used a round graphic of practice which involved in an unlimited rotation contains a range of creative symbols to play this music randomly, repetitively and indeterminacy. The philosophical concept related to ‘cycle of nihilism’, revealing a kind of power to breakthrough the cycle/rotation. What this kind of power could be? There is no unique answer.

The second example: The coordinate system is commonly used in mathematics field, it is an attempt to present the alternative tunings through this practice example approach to interdiscipline of math and contemporary music.
