reflection on the AIMS for Design Studio

I think this term I should increase my drawing speed and spend more time on drawing, I want to practice my basic sketching skills and improve my ability to draw details, I finished a 6-page comic last term but when I looked at it I realised that my images were too monotonous so I would like to have more detail in my images.

I think I also need to practice drawing some freehand pieces and I want to be a bit more daring and create more imaginative pieces that will be more appealing.
My goals for this term are to try out more drawing methods and materials and to complete a new story picture book, this time I will be using more colours and completing more pages than that comic from last term.

I would like to continue my project of combining ink and watercolour from last term. Last term I tried to paint some figures and animals in both ink and watercolour, but I think my images are still a bit thin and the ink and watercolour don’t work well together. So I will continue to paint with ink and watercolour this term to enrich my work.
