Exhibition Platform Decided——“Alienation”

Once I had identified everything I needed in the lead up to the exhibition, I needed a platform to complete my online exhibition.
Initially I wanted to design a website and Jake gave me some resources for online exhibitions and online galleries. But how to insert a virtual pavilion into the website would become difficult for me, and I didn’t think I could do it as well as a professional curatorial agency because the time and resources I had were very limited.
I got advice from Chun Sun, an artist I work with, who recommended me to use the platform New Art City, which is used by a number of students at the Royal College of Art, including their professional exhibitions which are held both offline and online, and the online exhibitions are on this platform, which makes it easy to build virtual galleries.
I signed up for the platform on her recommendation and it’s really cool. There are so many online exhibitions going on and the site tags them with group and individual projects. I could get some inspiration from other people’s exhibitions, but it was still difficult to model and present my own visuals, I had to learn how to model and use blender software to make models and then import them into the New Art City platform. The website provides an open space, so to speak, but it is still up to me to set up the exhibition.
I do feel a bit more relaxed with this platform, and I am even happier to see that such a platform has emerged, which will probably contribute significantly to the popularity of online exhibitions and provide support to a number of young curators. What I like most is that Exhibition visitors access online via a web browser, with no need to download, register or install anything!
I believe that online exhibitions can also shine and I am looking forward to the appearance of more exhibition platforms that will allow for more formats and excellent presentation of online exhibitions.
