This is my final blog post as my design project is complete and I have completed my AutoCAD and Sketch-Up learning. I completed my Sketch-Up model to show my Interior Design 2A exhibition design ideas as well as the exterior of the model to represent the Blackness Castle Officers Quarters adding the texture and colours of the exterior brick using the ‘Paint’ tool. Overall, I found this Computer Aided Design course very difficult at the start but I am now confident at using Auto-Cad to produce 2D floor plans/sections and Sketch-Up to create 3D models effectively. Therefore, this course has been very influential and has allowed me to progress a lot in terms of my ability to design digitally.
