Textiles in the traditional concept are often combined with knitting, wool, silk and other raw materials. With the improvement of human technology and the awakening of the awareness of protecting the natural environment, recyclable fabrics are entering people’s lives. This exhibition will show Recyclable fabric made of plastic, which is extremely environmentally friendly and can be widely used in people’s daily life.

The exhibition will take place on April 20th from 10 am to 4 pm at the exhibition hall located in the Fire Station of the Edinburgh University College of Art. The theme of this exhibition is “Recyclable Textiles” and aims to explore how to reduce the impact of the environment on the textile industry by using recyclable materials and producing recyclable products. Our goal is to convey environmental information to the public, raise awareness of environmental issues, and promote the importance of a sustainable lifestyle.

The exhibition will showcase a series of recyclable textiles, including intermediate products made from recycled plastics and finished fashions. The production of these recyclable textiles significantly reduces environmental pollution, and they can be recycled, making an important contribution to future sustainable development compared to traditional textiles. The design of these recyclable textiles is highly artistic and innovative, integrating the concept of green environmental protection and a low-carbon lifestyle into their design, presenting a refreshing and fashionable style.

The production and design of these recyclable textiles are completed by student artist Sindy and Cherry from the University of Manchester. They use recyclable materials to create beautiful and sustainable fashion. During this curation, their design concept integrates the ideas of green environmental protection and low carbon living into fashion design, promoting the concept of sustainable fashion.

We hope that through these exhibits, we can demonstrate to the public the importance of recyclable textiles and encourage more people to join the ranks of green and low-carbon lifestyles. We believe that the exhibition will be able to convey the concept of environmental protection and the importance of sustainable living to the public, and awaken people’s awareness of environmental issues. At the same time, we also hope that through this exhibition, more people can understand and recognize the importance of sustainable lifestyles to environmental protection.
