week 4

catalogue of Non-Human/ Organs Without Bodies

I hope this catalogue can present you the beauty of chemistry, also how art can related to chemistry even they sound irrelevant.

we can not see those micro structure with our bare eyes, but they are everywhere in our daily life. The images below which presented by the BeautifulChemistry.net show us clearly what those mysterial micro elements look like. I was amazed by the existing of  these elaborately structures formed in our natural world, and in our bodies. Hundreds of millions of these molecules and atoms made up our world, every single of them has their job and function when they connected, and transform into things that we familiar with, just as in a factory.

My drawing studying on notational system

For this week we are focusing on the term ‘Transformation ‘, and I found the transformation of energy is a very important part in traditional Chinese medical science,  traditional Chinese medicine involves how energy flow and affect our bodies and our well beings. And there is a perfect system and notation system on this part. My drawing links the western master piece and this traditional Chinese notation together.
