Toko Shinoda is a Japanese artist known for sumi ink paintings and prints that blend traditional calligraphy with modern abstraction. I learned from Shinoda Toko’s painting style and used ink drawings and abstract forms to show a table of my imaginary museum. Most of her work tends to be very plain and the brush marks left by it are visible, and I have tried to apply the same concept to my work. The structure of most of her work tends to be plain, but sometimes with strong but comfortable colour contrasts, and the brush marks it leaves are often visible, and I have tried to apply the same concept to my work.
