Following my consideration of the relationship between visual stimulus and aural imagination, I decided to paint some abstract studies intended to create a sense of an “aural landscape”, taking into account layering, colours, the relationship between colours, shapes, texture, orientation, thickness and opacity of the paint, and other factors.

Continuing with the project I think I would like to experiment with depicting  scenes that visually present “real” noises, combined with the factors I listed above to create a sense of a multi-layered visual and aural landscape.
