I’m really loving photographing insects at the moment- not completely sure why yet but I’m hoping it will reveal itself- their body structure and movements fascinate me. I like to imagine their perception of the world and what their senses would conceive of.

The decimation of bees in the twenty-first century brought on by the use of pesticides that dramatically curtailed pollination is an example of unintended damaged caused by human ‘command and control’ approaches to environmental management. These unintended consequences are a fallout from the myth of progress which accelerate in asymmetrical contrary motion to human ecological control.
