As part of my research for my own album, I’ve been listening to ‘concept albums’, like Pink Floyd’s The Wall, Green Day’s American Idiot, and My Chemical Romance’s The Black Parade. These albums are also known as ‘rock operas’ due to their three act structure. The video goes into more detail about this concept. I have also used this three act structure when writing my poetry and recording my own album.
