How to Submit an OEER Blog Post?

How to Submit an OEE Research Blog Post:

We invite graduates of the Outdoor Environmental and Sustainability Education programmes to showcase their dissertation or applied project research on the OEE student blog. Blog posts are promoted via our LinkedIn School Page (https://www.linkedin.com/school/outdoor-environmental-education) and alumni group, providing a great opportunity to share your work with a wide audience. Your research will reach prospective and current students, as well as our wider community.

Guidelines:

  • Blog post: 500–850 words covering your research questions, methods, key findings, how your work has informed your practice, and the year your research was completed.
  • Optional media: Include a short video or podcast (up to 3 minutes) highlighting aspects of your research and its practical impact.
  • Bio & images: Provide a brief bio with your email, a headshot, and any images (appropriately credited).
  • Social media handles: Include any relevant LinkedIn handles or hashtags for promotion.

Submission: Email your blog to OEE.Programmes@ed.ac.uk with the subject line: Student Research Blog – YOUR NAME.

Submissions will be reviewed by the OEE Student Research Team, approved by the Programme Director, and posted on the OEE blog regularly throughout the year. By submitting your blog, you agree to its use for University of Edinburgh promotional purposes, including promotion on LinkedIn.
