Congratulations to everyone in the digital skills training teams. In 2025, we taught 6490 people in total, which is a 24.57% increase from 2024. Ask them how they did it.
I am looking forward to seeing many of you at our story telling skills session. Now fully booked. New Year, New Skill: Practical Strategic Storytelling Training for LTW
The second half of January includes the start of ISG annual planning. Please help your managers gather the data that they need. There is also an LTW SMT awayday on which we will attempt to build a new university out of pipecleaners and sticky-backed plastic.
The outside world continues to be a bit grim, and I am in more conversations about ‘nudification’ than I expected, but at least the office has warmed up a bit. Bathe in the big blue castle views and long skies if you can.
Like the Traitors, we have some internal recruitments going on. Keep an eye out for opportunities.
If you are hungry, those of you who came to Kyloe for festive lunch should have received a £15 voucher. The email subject is ‘Christmas’. Check your clutter folder.
Building on our VLE success Another Milestone for VLE Excellence – VLE Consolidation
You will have seen the Principal taking a firm position on duplication of platforms. We can greet this with the traditional grace: ‘Some hae Teams but canna meet, some wad meet that want it. But we hae Teams and we can meet , so let the Lord be thanket.’
