Hi, we’re Edinburgh University Paediatrics Society.
Paediatrics is a speciality that covers everything from neonates to young adults – from cardiology to pulmonology – making it one of the most diverse, dynamic and interesting aspects of medicine. Not only is it a fascinating specialty, but Edinburgh is a great place to explore it, with the new Royal Hospital for Sick Children (hopefully) opening soon, great charities, and a fantastic multi-disciplinary community united by the aim of treating the next generation.
Edinburgh University Paediatrics Society tries to share this world with Edinburgh students through a range of talks from experts in the field, tutorials, fundraisers and volunteering. We also collaborate with the Teddy Bear Hospital for a cracking ceilidh.
Have a look at our Facebook pages, where we will be sharing events, interesting articles/books from the world of paediatrics, and other opportunities. We hope to see you at one of our events soon, and are always happy to answer questions about the speciality, and how to get involved.
