Hi, we’re Edinburgh University Emergency Medicine Society.
Addicted to Air Ambulance ER? Have a hankering for Helicopter Heroes? Watch 24 Hours in A&E 24/7?
Then Edinburgh University Emergency Medicine Society (EUEMS) is the society for you! EUEMS is Edinburgh’s society for all things acute – from learning your ABCs to how to triage to career exploration in emergency medicine, we’ve got you covered!
We have run talks with professionals in the field, scenario sessions (such as a mock plane crash with you being first on scene) and career nights (with wine and cheese included!) in the past and hope to bring you virtual versions of our events this year (hopefully with in-person events soon to follow as restrictions ease!).
EUEMS works closely with Save A Life For Scotland (SALFS) and are always on the lookout for volunteers to help us with teaching CPR to the public.
Through joining our society, you’ll have free access to all of our talks and events and discounts on any hands-on events we get to run this year.
Please feel free to contact us with any questions or event requests. We look forward to meeting you at our events (albeit virtually!) and hope you enjoy our society as much as we do!
