Accessibility in Medicine (AIM)

Society logoAccessibility in Medicine is a fun and friendly society committed to reducing inequalities in medicine by providing free, high-quality tutorials and resources to medical students and actively facilitating widening participation into medicine for high school pupils.

To do this, we:

  • Offer regular tutorials to first and second-year medical students covering core medical content, anatomy, clinical skills and OSCE practice
  • Create written, video and pictorial online resources to further aid students’ learning in their own time
  • Reach out to selected schools, with a focus on those from where students have traditionally not had equal opportunities to enter into a medical degree, and offer mentorship to the pupils who are aspiring to do so.

We would love for you to join us, whether as a learner, a teacher, a mentor, or all three! Keep an eye on our Facebook page and your year page for all updates regarding these opportunities.
