Anatomy Society

Anatomy society logoHi, we’re Edinburgh Student Anatomy Society (ESAS).

ESAS strives to nurture and facilitate engagement with the fascinating world of human anatomy.

We run a series of lab tutorials for year 1 and 2 medical students, covering the major systems such as cardiovascular, respiratory, and gastrointestinal. Our highly anticipated tutorials are taught by older medics, in the anatomy lab with specimens.

Medics are given the fantastic opportunity to be guided through prosections in an interactive style. These tutorials enable medical students to delve deeper into the subject and explore key clinical applications. We additionally organise anatomy-related talks covering interesting topics such as body donation.

This society is for individuals seeking to dive further into the discipline and our past attendees have included budding surgeons and curious medics alike.
