Edinburgh City Council wants to hear the public view on how the city’s links to Empire and the Transatlantic slave trade should be addressed within its built environment.

The consultation is part of work being carried out by the Edinburgh Slavery and Colonialism Review Group, set up by the council and headed by Professor Sir Geoff Palmer.  It is open for 12 weeks from 27 October 2021 to 19 January 2022. A link to the consultation, and further information on the Group’s work can be found here. (Opens new website)
