This online talk was held as part of Scotland’s Black History Month programme in October 2021. It highlights the work of community organisations who are connecting stories of Empire with Scotland’s built environment. Speakers from the Edinburgh Caribbean Association, West of Scotland Regional Equality Council (WSREC) and The Birse Community Trust discuss their recent projects, and how further support and engagement can help better address conversations on race through Scotland’s built heritage.
