Living Through Covid
As I look around my living room and close over the door
I stare out the window in a box like state
I no longer brush my hair
as I’m only watching TV.
I’m no longer sharing my dinner table
enjoying my dinner because
its just me and the tv
I don’t bother to check myself in the mirror
as it’s only me
in my box like living.
I only adjust my glasses
to watch the TV.
Yes it’s covid 19 doing this to me
I’m bottling everything up.
It doesn’t come with a remote control
like my TV.
NO I will not give up.
I will reach out to zoom.
At last technology has finally gave its purpose.
Now in a world I need to understand
as know it will help me be connected
to real people.
So now I can continue my plans
because I connected through tech.
Not letting this covid reduce me to a wreck.
