As part of the Kerr Fry project, S6 students from George Watson’s College and Castlebrae Community High School have been invited to participate in an initiative to build their knowledge and leadership skills by running workshops in their local primary schools on how to use Micro:bits for learning.
Training for participating pupils took place in Castlebrae on the 11th June 2025 and George Watson’s on the 17th June 2025.
Microb:ts on the Move is a wider Data Education in Schools’ initiative that has brought students from the University of Edinburgh to schools around Scotland to teach learners to use Micro:bits: Micro:bits on the move – Data Education in Schools.
