Hi!

I am Johannes De Smedt, (Dixons Carphone) Lecturer in Business Analytics. Next week, we will launch the MicroMasters in Predictive Analytics for Business Applications in light of the Distance Learning at Scale of the University. In this blog, I will keep track of my experiences and progress throughout the first year.

I had to create this post for my Online Teaching Course, so expect my first messages to be related to my own learning experience. The course is taught by Dr Michael Gallagher, who, coincidentally (or not), joins me for a Principle Teaching Award Scheme’s project on the learning analytics of the MicroMasters. Expect to see some results on these near the end of the academic year here as well.
